The term 'casual dining' is fairly new to the furniture industry and it has become increasingly popular over the past 6 years. Casual dining refers to a lounge set that sits around a table which is at a height to eat comfortably at. Casual dining is about having both a lounge and dining setting when you only have room for one.
One of the most impressive features of the Avila wicker lounge is the reclining ability on the two lounge chairs. They are really easy to use and have a handle to pull to recline.
Some of the features of the Avila, I know you will enjoy are:
- a large table that has ample area for food and drinks (or board games)
- a full aluminium slat table top that is easy to clean
- easy to use, recliner functions on the two lounge chairs
- 2 ottomans for feet or for extra seating

The Specs
Our wicker is made from HDPE (high density polyethylene) which is a fancy name for plastic/resin that is high quality and has been treated to handle more exposure to the sun's rays than other brands. Our wicker is fully resin, no cotton fibres inside to fray, leaving your setting looking good for many years to come.
The fabric used on the Avila is a spun polyester which is resistant to creasing, and is best kept under cover for longevity. Our cushion filling is a combination of dacron layers and a foam layer. After many years of testing, we know that a 'sandwich' of dacron and foam increases the life of the cushion and will help drain any liquids that the filling is exposed to.

You might be thinking "how do I clean wicker? Doesn't it collect heaps of dust?"
You might be surprised to know that wicker collects no more dust than any other material. Dust settles on furniture no matter what it is made of.
To clean the wicker, the easiest way is to use a microfibre cloth and wipe it across all surfaces. I like to use a dustpan brush to sweep across my wicker at home, I also do the cushions this way.
The wicker CAN be hosed, the water doesn't hurt the resin or the aluminium frame. A gurney can have too strong a force and I would avoid doing this.
