Kathryn and Justin live in Piggabeen, just over the border in northern New South Wales. They have a spectacular outdoor space - a patio by the pool, overlooking the mountains, with an outdoor kitchen already in place. All it needed was furniture.
With Lume's Brisbane showroom being the closest place to find the quality they were after, Kathryn made the trip up herself to see the range in person.
Kathryn Comes to the Showroom
Kathryn drove up from Piggabeen to our Brisbane showroom to explore the options. With so many choices available, she took her time, imagined each piece in their patio, and then did something clever: she took photos of the pieces she loved and sent them through to Justin at home so he could weigh in from afar.
It's a great approach for couples making big furniture decisions - one person does the legwork in the showroom, the other gets to see the real thing via photos rather than just guessing from a website.

Starting With the Umbrella
Their first purchase was a large Solarmax umbrella for the pool area - practical first, beautiful second. Once that was delivered and installed, they came back for the furniture.

The Dining Setting and Lounge
After some discussion, Kathryn and Justin landed on a dining setting and a corner lounge to complete the space. The combination gave them everything they needed: a proper dining area for entertaining and a relaxed lounge zone to take in that mountain view.

We organised delivery with Northline freight to get the larger pieces down to Piggabeen, and a follow-up order came through Australia Post for an extra item they added later. Interstate delivery is absolutely something we can help with - it just takes a bit of planning.
We Were Even Invited Over for Dinner
