The Large Resin Base is an optional freestanding base for large Shelta cantilever umbrellas. Similar to the Extra Large version but with a slightly smaller footprint and no wheels. The bolt-down plate attaches the umbrella pole securely to the base, which is then filled underneath with sand or blue metal to reach the required ballast weight of 125kg.
Worth noting: because the base adds 22cm of height, the canopy, winder handle and tilt mechanism are all raised by 22cm, so keep this in mind when planning your space.
