The Extra Large Resin Base with Wheels is an optional freestanding base for large Shelta cantilever umbrellas. The bolt-down plate attaches the umbrella pole securely to the base, which is then filled underneath with sand or blue metal to reach the required ballast weight of 145kg. Built-in wheels make it easy to reposition despite the weight.
Worth noting: because the base adds 25cm of height, the canopy, winder handle and tilt mechanism are all raised by 25cm, something to keep in mind when planning your space.
