The Pinehurst lounge is reclined easily by pushing in a small silver button on the right armrest, and leaning backwards. The gas strut is located beneath the seat frame. All 3 seats on the this outdoor sofa have the option to recline: the outer seats have the silver push-button, and the middle seat has a loop between the seats that you pull to recline. Now, no one misses out on reclining!
